Education & Career Development

Boys & Girls Club of the Foothills promotes educational enrichment and school engagement. Our education and career programs encourage participants to graduate from high school on time, prepare themselves for a post-secondary education, and take steps towards a successful career.

Project Learn

Members benefit from homework assistance, tutoring, educational games, and other high-yield learning activities that develop cognitive skills. We encourage parent involvement and collaboration between the Club and our school professionals.

Power Hour

BGCF offers tutoring and homework assistance based on best educational practices, including recognition and incentives; behavior management; and the use of technology and the Internet. We encourage members of every age to become self-directed learners.

Club Tech

Our interactive computer and technology instruction emphasizes digital literacy skills, which are essential to succeeding in school and in the job market.

Time to Read

BGCF provides a 12-week mentoring and literacy program for struggling readers. We help them to develop learning strategies for school and home, increase self-esteem, and improve their reading level.

Diplomas 2 Degrees

Our college readiness program guides youths aged 13 to 18 as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education. Learn more about Diplomas 2 Degrees.
